Hi, it's been a long time since I last posted a film.
I'm sure I vowed to give this time consuming hobby up but here I am again. What
got me to make another one is to sen this piece to a famous Japanese
animator. His father was a fighter pilot and as a result he did a few
stories based on WWII fighter pilots. (trivia: He also did music videos
to Daft Punk)
Anyway, the original is in Japanese.

It's an extract of a letter a pilot wrote just before his Kamikaze mission.
A bit sad because he clearly disagreed with the causes of the war.
However, I don't particularly want to get involved in the discussions
of Kamikaze missions and the controversy that surrounds it. I just
wanted a story and the letter gave it a bit more depth than just a
"take-off, wham bam, safe landing".
